Tarts Abroad - Spread that Fragrance!

Well!! - Let me tell you straight away that we've heard from "Rose of Morocco" and she HAS arrived home in Morocco in one piece...... John said Jean had heard from Auntie Kate by T X T, whatever that is!? Isn't that good news though because before she left Auntie Kate told us she was a bit worried about "hitches" on the way. Apparently they had some difficult "lifts" to negotiate en route, and we smiled knowingly - not having a clue what she meant. They must have walked a lot though because Jean said they were hiking. We've seen a map but although it didn't look far there seemed a lot of sea in the way, we don't know yet how Kate got over that - but we'll find out when she gets back, you mark my words we will!!!
It's been quite a difficult time since I last wrote because Jean has been ill with Flu and an awful cough so John has been here a lot. He sneezes so loudly it frightens us all and our poor nerves have been on edge for weeks.... Jean is recovering now and Auntie Hannah told me that she would be back in the shop this weekend (we bet it will be on Sunday with Hannah).
More excitement from abroad - Jean heard from rich Auntie Karen in Canada - and "Freesia" is now wafting her fragrance through British Columbia. If only she was still here to enjoy this Spring though, we miss her!
Becca stunned us all two weeks ago when she appeared with a "Little Brown Bag" - so like her too - she said it was "well" something or other and we all nodded in sage agreement - so pleased to see a touch of another american style in the shop!
We're all on edge now waiting for "Sunwashed Linen" to make a come-back. She'll probably arrive with "Amber Glow" and "Beachwalk" who are the latest new arrivals due in from Stateside. John says we'll like them, but he said that about "Greenhouse" when she arrived and now she's overcooked it and been discontinued (probably for growing all that mist and green mould she used to surround herself with).
It's a relief to have got past Easter you know, it was so busy again - just like Christmas! That's exaggerating, and I know it but we couldn't believe it when we had a "White Easter" with all that snow!!!! We were glad to see the back of all those little chicks, rabbits and ducks - and the eggs kept on making cracking noises at night pretending they were hatching out dinosaurs - we got really tired of their antics I can tell you.
Now it's April - and we don't think we suffered any April Fool jokes at all - just another batch of "for-kandle" wisecracks as usual. It's still over 4 months to the Italian Wedding, but wrangling over who should go is still going on, even "Spring Bouquet" thought she should be there for the Bride to toss in the air! What a silly tart she can be, doesn't she realise it will be near the end of summer then and she'll be well out of season?
Must dash, John is arriving to open the shop so we're all trying to sit still and look pretty - it is Saturday you know and we all want to be bought and go visiting customers' houses and spreading our fragrances like good tarts should!
I'll tell you next time about the big news - guess who's coming back to the shop......... No, you have to guess.................... tell you next time
Byeeeeeeeeeeeeee
